Most websites bury a page like this under forty trackers. Blissuno is a physical venue with a deliberately quiet website, so this is the shortest honest cookie policy you will read this year.
What cookies are
Cookies are tiny text files a website stores in your browser to remember something — a preference, a choice, a session. They cannot see anything else on your device, they are not programs, and they cannot introduce themselves to other websites on their own.
Cookies come in two broad kinds: essential ones that make a page remember a choice you just made, and tracking ones that follow you around the web to build an advertising profile. The second kind is where most of the internet's mischief lives.
The cookies we set
Exactly one, and only on the home page:
- blissuno-cookie-consent — remembers whether you accepted or declined the cookie banner, so it does not ask you again. Stored locally in your browser; it contains no personal data and never leaves your device.
That is the complete list. There is no analytics cookie, no advertising cookie, no session cookie and no social media cookie on blissuno.com. The kitchen's actual cookies are available at the Chef's Table and are not covered by this policy.
What we never use
For the record, and because we are quietly proud of it:
- No Google Analytics, Hotjar, Meta Pixel or any other analytics or advertising script.
- No fingerprinting, no local-storage profiling, no cross-site tracking of any kind.
- No newsletter trackers — we do not run email marketing at all.
The website takes no bookings and no payments, so there is no account system, no session to maintain and no basket to remember. The contact form sends your message to the desk's inbox and forgets the rest.
Managing cookies
You can accept or decline our single cookie from the banner on the home page, and change your mind any time by clearing your browser storage — the banner will simply ask again. Every modern browser also lets you block or delete cookies in its settings, without breaking anything on this site.
Declining the consent cookie has no effect on how the website works; it only means the banner will greet you on your next visit, which some guests tell us they miss anyway.
Third-party content
The contacts page embeds a Google Maps frame so you can find the door. When the map loads, Google may set its own cookies under its own policies, which you can read at policies.google.com/technologies/cookies. Loading the map is your choice and your click; the rest of the site loads nothing from third parties.
Our typography and icon libraries load from public CDNs as stylesheets and font files — they do not set cookies or read anything back.
Questions & changes
If this page ever grows longer than one cookie, we will say so here first. Changes to this policy take effect when published, and the effective date at the top always reflects the current version.
